Ramble v2

I just attempted my first slimming world meeting and have seen the embodiment of Dante's Circles of Hell. In a dingey, grey/green painted Catholic church hall hordes of miserable fat people stood in a queue waiting to be placed upon the scales and have their worth judged for them by the pound. Young mothers of limited intellect screamed at their howling broods who bounced from the walls like the Tazmanian Devil on Speed. This was all watched and commented on by a greek chorus of aged Harpies, their skull faces smeared with powder and rouge. If being fat is a sin then this is the hell that waits for sinners, for all eternity.

On the bright side my wife assures me they're not all like this so I'll try another one somewhere else tomorrow.
